X Chromosome Inactivation

Hi! Out of curiosity–I’ve heard that one thing that has made inclusion of the X chromosome so difficult in GWAS/downstream analyses has been X chromosome inactivation. Does anyone know what’s the status on this? Has this problem been solved/figured out?
