# Relatedness and GRM

Hello,  
I wanted to ask if including grm in mixed model GWAS would be sufficient enough to adjust related individuals (first, second, third degree individuals) or is one recommended to remove the obviously related individuals and apply grm as random effect to adjust merely cryptic relatedness?
